CV Axles
The drive axles on a front wheel drive vehicle are commonly called “CV axles”. When an axle boot malfunctions it can allow precious lubricant to leak. When lubricant is missing from the axle boot, the CV joint makes a loud crunching noise. This noise can be heard when you are turning your vehicle.
